Perfect Hair styles in Just Three Steps of 2012

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

Perfect hairstyles in just three steps of 2012. When you have no time to fuss over your hair, here is your salvation: Each of the following no-sweat hairstyles takes just one product and three moves.

The Side Braid

The Side Braid

Witness the comeback of braids, which haven’t been this stylish since, well, fifth grade. What makes this updated version grown-up is its soft texture and relaxed style. “It’s chic yet beachy,” says Laurent Philippon, a hairstylist in New York City. Let pieces fall forward to add to the casual appeal.

How to:

(1) Using your hands, work a golf ball–size dollop of mousse through dry hair. Try Barex Gloss Mousse Normal Hold on wavy hair, Strong Hold on fine (each $26, folica.com).

(2) Finger-tousle hair for fullness.

(3) Gather strands under one ear, braid, and secure with an elastic.

For a more polished look, watch this video and learn how to French braid hair.

The Triple Knots

This creation only appears elaborate; making the three small rosettes couldn’t be easier. It’s their position, nestled together along the nape of the neck, that gives the style an elegant vibe.

How to:

(1) Comb hair back, divide into three sections, and create three low ponytails at the hairline.

(2) One at a time, twist each ponytail length and wrap the hair around the base of the tail, creating small buns.

(3) Secure with bobby pins and set with hair spray, like L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray (Staring at $13 on Yahoo! Shopping).

The High Bun

Somewhere between laid-back and ladylike, this look works on long or short hairstyles and is ideal for tucking away unruly bangs. The knot’s location—at the crown of the head—draws attention to the eyes and the cheekbones, giving your face an instant lift.

How to:

(1) Spritz a texturizing spray, like Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray ($23, bumbleandbumble.com), on dry hair, scrunching sections to create body.

(2) Gather hair into a high ponytail so it rests at the very top of your head. Secure with an elastic and use bobby pins to tack up shorter strands in back.

(3) Gently tousle the ends, randomly twisting them under and pinning them around the ponytail’s base. For longer lengths, create a loose bun and secure with pins.

Modern Ponytail

Gathering hair into a low pony is simple, but you can make it look sophisticated and polished by creating a deep side part before securing your strands. “This feminizes and softens the look,” says Luigi Murenu, a hairstylist in New York City.

How to:

(1) Sweep a defrizzing serum, like John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum (Starting at $8 on Yahoo! Shopping), through wet hair, then blow-dry hair straight with a paddle brush.

(2) Line up a comb with the arch of your eyebrow and make a part.

(3) Secure hair in an elastic at the nape of your neck.
Quick Twist

Quick Twist

A classic French twist looks just as appropriate with a sundress as it does with a formal gown. Plus, it’s deceptively simple—even with shorter lengths.

How to:

(1) Work a volumizer, such as Redken Thickening Lotion 06 Body Builder (Starting at $13.50 on Yahoo! Shopping), through towel-dried hair, then scrape hair back with your fingers to create natural-looking volume.

(2) Smooth hair over to one side and secure with several bobby pins down the back of the head (where the center of the twist will lie) in a vertical line.

(3) Flip hair to the other side so strands cover the line of pins. Roll and tuck the hair ends under, securing with larger U-shaped pins to hold everything in place.

Carlos 'Halfy' Rodriguez Photos and Video - Lost a Large Portion of His Brain and Skull

Carlos 'Halfy' Rodriguez Photos and Video. A bad boy who was left with half a head following a dramatic accident has spoken out for the first time - blaming his astonishing appearance on a drink and drugs binge.

Carlos 'Halfy' Rodriguez, who also goes by the name Sosa, lost a large portion of his brain and skull in a crash after flying through his car's windscreen and landing head-first on the road.

In a new video he has used his appearance and story to warn others not to drink and take drugs.
Doctors were forced to cut away large amounts of flesh and bone to help him survive and he has since been able to continue his life in Miami, Florida.

'I was barred out on drugs. I was driving and I hit a pole and flew out the front window and landed on my head,' he said in a new warning message on You Tube.

Showing his head to camera he added: 'And this is how the old boy has come out. That is why it is not good drinking and driving or drugness (sic) and driving. It is no good kids.'

According to the German tabloid Bild he had the accident aged 14.
'I was with a cousin and a friend stole the car, there was a near-fatal car accident. As the speed was too fast we lost control of the car and crashed,' he said.

Mr Rodriguez shot to fame two years ago after he was was arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitution.

Miami Police had problems with their paperwork and his forms contained no name and simply the description 'half a head'.
But despite his serious message to stay away from narcotics, it appears that he is yet to change his ways after admitting he still smokes a lot of drugs.

In a bizarre tirade he also accuses American President Barrack Obama of doing the same.
'This is what I do daily: burn a stake,' which is slang for a joint.

'Obama is the President of ya'll United States and he smokes. (Expletive) has the whole White House growing.

'Then why can't I smoke me a blunt?'.

'Halfy' is not the only person to survive with half a head, as several other Britons have done the same.

Teenager Ben Maycock was lucky to be alive after a brutal hammer attack left him a huge dent in his skull in 2010.

The vicious assault left Ben's head shattered - and doctors had to hack away huge chunks in a battle to save his life.

Medics at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, doubted Ben would survive his horrific injuries, and told his grief-stricken mum to prepare for the worst, but incredibly, he survived.

Milan Fashion Week 2012 (Photos)

For DSquared's last fashion show in September, they had models strolling up the catwalk with smudged make-up, in mud-splattered jeans and holding bottles of Heineken.
It was like being transported straight to Glastonbury.

And just six months on, the Canadian designers have again taken a leaf out of Kate Moss' book by getting their models to walk down the runway in Milan holding cigarettes.

Ms Moss famously smoked at a Louis Vuitton show this time last year - flouting an indoor smoking ban in Paris.

And a similar ban in Italy perhaps explains why the cigarettes held by DSquared models were mainly used as accessories. The women modelling brothers Dean and Dan Caten's Sixties-inspired outfits rarely brought the cigarettes anywhere near their mouths.

The same cannot be said for Zombie Boy, Lady Gaga's friend who was sitting in the front row.

The tattoo-covered 26-year-old puffed away before the show as he posed for photographers.
It really did seem like the whole show was geared up to give the message that smoking is cool.
Or perhaps it was all just an homage to Mad Men?

In the American TV series about the advertising industry that is firmly set in the Sixties, all the protagonists smoke away at their desks.

And many of the more sophisticated outfits being paraded down the catwalk in Milan wouldn't have looked out of place on Betty, Peggy or Joan.

Even those wearing more modern, casual outfits including DSquared staples, distressed skinny jeans and sweatshirts, were styled with beehive hairdos and Sixties-style make-up.

But it is the cigarettes the models were carrying that will make the most lasting impression - particularly as the show had a rather inappropriate school hall-style setting and many of the models must still be in their teens.
Let's hope that that smoking is one fashion trend that will not catch on. (source)
